A renovation and restoration project located on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, CONGA Boutique Hotel celebrates the Afro-descendant heritage of Puerto Viejo through culturally rooted, experience-driven design. Inspired by the region's African and Jamaican roots, the concept was developed as a tribute to the immigrants who have shaped the rich identity of the Afro-Costa Rican community. Every design decision—from architectural interventions to graphic details—was guided by this narrative, aiming to provide guests with a space that is both welcoming and meaningful.
